Javier Masini has a BSIE (Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering) from Universidad Panamericana, campus Guadalajara; as well as a Masters in Engineering with Emphasis in Quality and Productivity Systems by Instituto Tecnolológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He has a specialized training in Company-Wide Quality and Productivity Management by Central Japan Industries Associatation in Nagoya, Japan, as well as second specialized training in Industrial Engineering and Quality Control by Kitakyushu International Techno Cooperative Agency in Kitakyushu, Japan. He is also an Associated Value Specialist by SAVE International and the Miles Value Foundation. He has a Lead Auditor for ISO9001 granted by Det Norske Veritas and the International Register of Certified Auditors. Besides being a professor in the Engineering field at Universidad Panamericana for over a decade, he was the founder president of the Instituto de Ingenieros Industriales de Occidente (Chapter 252 of the Institute of Industrial Engineers); a training agent at Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (Federal labor bureau), five times has been one of the 15 jurors for the Jalisco's Award to Quality (Premio Jalisco a la Calidad). He is a Black Belt and trainer at the Lean Six Sigma Institute de México; as well as the founder of Mudanai Engineering, a counsulting and training group. He has also presented several lectures in conferences in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Value Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control as well as Collaboration Skills for Engineers. He is a full time professor at Universidad Panamericana, Campus Guadalajara. Since 1998 he's been commited to promoting and trainning process analysis. Training is his favorite activity, and since the mid 90's has specialized his trainning skills for these four engineering fields: Lean Manufacturing Process Simulation using Computers Value Engineering Statistical Quality and Process Control.
